VCIS students spawned spots at the National Long Course Swim Championship

Our pride in sport and seasoned tankers, Ted (G7) and Gianna (G8), claimed another proud spots at the recent 2016 National Long Course Swim Championship held last July 14 to 17, 2016 at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex. Ted and Gianna, with six other swimmers, completed the roster of D’Ace Seahawks and pitched in to the 65 entries of the team in the different events.


Ted took the 3rd place spot in the 400-meter individual medley; 2nd place in 200-meter freestyle and 100- and 200-meter backstroke, and 1st place in 50-meter breaststroke. While Gianna brought home a bronze for 50-meter backstroke, a silver for 200-meter individual medley and 400-meter freestyle, and a gold for 100- and 200-meter backstroke respectively.
