Our students truly carried the exceptional VCIS way of servant leadership at the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Student Leadership Conference in Tagaytay City. The three-day event was filled with barrels of fun, and a spring of unforgettable life experiences flowed through our students’ hearts and minds.

The ACSI Student Leadership Conference brought together over 200 student-leaders from different private Christian schools in the country. Selected Grades 6–11 students made up the VCIS delegation, and they were joined by school heads and faculty staff.

Our Rockers got themselves totally in the picture when they were selected to represent 11 among 12 diverse groups and share their “Big Hairy Audacious Goals” (BHAG) report with fellow front-runners. Kyle, our Grade 9 student, nailed it when he showcased his hosting abilities and made the crowd truly accommodated, alive, and captivated. Some of our students volunteered for ushering roles, armed with their warm and infectious smiles. And some with musical gifts were handpicked to join the praise and worship band and lead the whole crowd in adoration and thanksgiving to God.

Our Rockers did not only learn about leadership and effective implementation of school programs. They were certainly like bright bulbs in a box in the conference — sharing the light of excellence, friendship, and fun with aspiring and future servant-leaders.
