It was another proud moment for the whole Victory Christian International School community as our Grade 6 student-athlete, Ted, hauled medals from the Albay Palarong Pambansa 2016, a multi-level national scholastic athletic competition held last April 10 to 16, 2016, in the scenic province of Albay.

Among 18,000 delegates from 36 regions in the country, Ted went home shining as he hustled for a bronze medal in the individual 50m breaststroke. With 60 medals at stake for swimming, Ted chipped in both silver and gold medals to the NCR tankers at the 4×50 freestyle relay and 4×50 medley relay respectively. At the end of the meet, his team (NCR) laid claim and defended its crown as the overall champion for 12 straight years.

It was really a tough row to hoe for Ted, but his natural talent, hard work, and faith in God brought him this far!
