VCIS celebrated Linggo ng Wika

By: Victory Christian International School // Date: October 04,2016

The celebration of Linggo ng Wika from August 17 to 19 marked the first successful activity of the VCIS students this year!

Inspired by the theme, Filipino, Wika ng Karunungan, Rockers enjoyed participating and performing in all the activities. Bahay Dibuho, a freestyle art competition stirred up 22 participants across grade levels who squeezed their artistic juices to create their visual representations of honoring their parents. Anndy and Gianna (G8) were declared the best artists. For those who love to sing their hearts out, Himig Papuri was their best choice. Class representatives performed Filipino/Tagalog praise and worship songs in appreciation of the Filipino language. Also, students who love to dance were not kept under wraps during Indakan, the dance avenue for the rendition of Gary Valenciano’s songs. They all rocked and shared the dance floor with VCIS teachers and staff while grooving to the song Hataw Na!

It was indeed another unique way of recognizing Filipino language and our students’ talents! Mabuhay, VCIS Rockers!
