Joined by a number of professional and young aquathletes, Petron Aquathlon 2015 was not overlooked by siblings and long-time sports buddies, Ted (Grade 5) and Danie (Grade 6) as they both made it to the top at the kickoff events.

Petron Aquathlon 2015 held its first part of the multi-sport series on November 22, 2015, at the Philippine Sports Complex (formerly known as ULTRA). The series was comprised of 50 to 300 m swimming and 1 to 3 km running tracks in the youth category. The event was joined by 16 to 60 year-old participants in the Open Categories. Ted won 1st place in the 200-m swimming and 2-km running events for 11 to 12 years old; Danie also took home 1st place in the 300-m swimming and 3-km running events for 13 to 15 years old. One fun event perk was a pre-race seminar given by Coach Sam Lapena, a certified triathlon coach.

Ted continually bagged 3 bronze medals at the Batang Pinoy 2015 National Championship in Mandaue, Cebu City from November 27 to December 2. He gained the medals for outstanding performances in 200-m freestyle, 100-m freestyle, and 50-m breaststroke events. It’s a surefire that our Rocker-aquathletes will be unfaltering to show the world their God-given abilities!
