More than the grand ballroom, sumptuous food, and glamorous dresses, our Grades 10 and 11 students shone more in the prime of their lives during the Victory Christian International School Grand Ball last January 22, 2016, held at the Discovery Suites, Ortigas, Pasig City.
The Grand Ball, one of the school’s traditions, gave the students an unmarred time to cherish moments they have had throughout the school year. The ball started with an inviting worship time led by the students, followed by an encouraging talk with the wise insights of Mr. Bryan Milligans, a distinct guest of honor, during the event. The students were also given the time to express their deepest gratitude, encouragement, and wishes to their pals through dedication cards. It also brought a significant school custom—the Turnover Ceremonies. The Grade 11 students symbolically passed on to the Grade 10 class the exceptional ways of bona fide VCIS students, the duty in carrying on the school’s vision, mission and its values, and the love and care in looking after the younger ones. Brought up the rear were the heartfelt message of High School Vice Principal, Ms. Joy Cando-Asuncion, and the exchange of prayers between the classes.
It was indeed a grand event of fellowship, memories, and hope!
