Gradeschoolers get an empowering treat from their retreat

After the success of the Grade 11 retreat last January, our Grades 1-5 students got their fill of Bible promises and fun during their retreat last February 5, 2016, at the Victory Fellowship Church in Ortigas. Facilitated by the Victory Ortigas team, the retreat aimed to deepen the students’ relationships with their classmates, families, and God; and help them value these relationships as an important piece of God’s big plan for their lives.

The retreat engaged the students in accomplishing different activities that brought them to the knowledge of God and His deep love. They had fun praising and worshipping Him, dancing, and bonding with their classmates in between sessions, all of which totally made them lose track of the time. To complement the retreat, Victory Ortigas held special talks for the parents, discussing the Biblical and practical principles on raising godly children. The sessions shed light on the parents’ roles in developing strong Christian character from home and integrating Biblical perspectives in their children’s lives.
Indeed, retreats will always be a great treat for every VCIS family!
