We are beaming with joy from Mishy’s exceptional performance during the 2017 Manila Round of the World Scholar’s Cup last February 5–6, 2017. Mishy, one of our IBDP students, bagged awards for different categories: School Top Scholar, 14th Place in the Scholar’s Bowl, Top 35% for Challenge Science, Top 30% for Challenge Social Studies, and another Top 30% for Challenge Literature.

When asked about her experience in joining the competition, Mishy replied, “[It’s] eye-opening to see different schools from different places in the Philippines come together. I met so many new friends. It’s really a fun experience because they don’t focus on what your grade is or what the output is, instead, they focus on the experience during the competition, so it wasn’t pressuring at all! The creators of the competition really made it super fun.”

Mishy, together with her group mates from different schools, qualified for the global round of the competition happening this year in Vietnam. We’re rooting for you, Mishy! We’re praying not only for another amazing feat, but for an overall wonderful experience.
